In the first 3 months of 2008, we have given out 1,804 bags of food valued at $24.00/bag. Your in-kind donations of non-perishable food items, which has fed nearly 200 families, has been estimated at roughly $43,296. Thank you! In addition to these in-kind donations, we have spent $376.64 from our budget to purchase additional food that has not been donated, and we have spent $305 in grocery store gift cards to offset some of the additional expenses required to feed individuals and families in our area. Our clients are coming to us for nourishing foods, and it is our responsibility to help our local community! Below are just two ways you can make a big impact by helping our food pantry this spring.
