Celebrating 50 years of service to the Franconia/Kingstowne area - 1966 to 2016!

Volunteers work as a team with the Clothing Closet Coordinator, who provides overall management, supervision, and guidance. Ideally, usually two or more volunteers are on hand at any given time to staff the Clothing Closet. Although scheduling is flexible, it is helpful for volunteers to come on a regular basis to ensure sufficient staff is on hand during the Clothing Closet’s hours of operation. The working environment is a pretty steady pace, the Clothing Closet accepts a large number of donations year-round, operates a monthly free market for clients. Typically clients will look for clothes while awaiting their turn to obtain food from the Pantry. Clothing Closet items are available only to eligible clients and not to the volunteers.
