How All Your Donations Help Our Clients and Community.

When Ms. MH was going through a rough patch in her marriage, she turned to Koinonia for help.

Helping with
Education

Ms. DW and her family of eight, came to us for help with food after moving to the States to escape political persecution and to enroll the children in school.

Food & Clothing

Ms. BN lived in senior apartments, and did commission work to supplement her Social Security income.  Business has been very slow and income much less for the past two years.

Preventing Eviction

At Koinonia, we find that helping our clients get through a difficult period is a basic tenet and responsibility of a Christian based organization.  Our clients have a variety of reasons that we are needed in  the community: a lost job; unexpected medical bill; a deteriorating family situation; escaping civil war abroad; and helping family members with their bills.  Sometimes, despite being careful with limited income, a family is dealt a financial blow and needs a helping hand.
Koinonia’s vision is to enhance the Franconia/Kingstowne community by channeling generosity toward local needs.
